About Us

Adept Translators has been helping people communicate in the Netherlands and around the world since 1994. Businesses large and small, NGOs, universities, charities, firms of lawyers, notaries and accountants, even the UN. Adept Translators is a partnership established by Jim Turner and Carmen Crespo. Jim was born in the UK and has been living in the Netherlands since 1987. After studying modern languages in Sheffield he obtained his translation qualification from ITV Hogeschool Utrecht in 1994, and has been a full-time translator ever since. He specialises in legal, financial and business texts. With his many years of experience, he effortlessly finds the right tone for every text.
